Ugh. I love PVD to death but even We Are Alive makes my stomach quivel. The less vocals the better.

I LOVE We Are Alive! So uplifting I like the version Laura's talking about, but I do agree...less vocals = better in this case.


Also...Laura...this version ISN'T the one I was talking to you about on MSN. It IS the one you want...however...the song I was talking about (Vrk maybe you can help me out here)...I forget which set it is in of mine, it's an older PvD one. And there's some Japanese chic in it singing...more like talking...and all I remember her is saying "and it's like...a never ending fairy tale", but her English is terrible and it's really hard to understand her. I should ask Josh...like I told Laura, it's a big joke between our friends back in Windsor (which is why Vrk, you may know what I'm talking about).

Maybe it's the Vandit Club mix. That one has the least amount of vocals I've heard and it's on the Paul plays Paul @ Casino, Berlin 6/4/01 set and I defintely like it.

I know what track you're talking about...I have that set...and it's WICKED (the track AND the set).

That's not the one Laura's talking about though...she wants the one of the Global DVD WITH lots of vocals. For some reason on my PC I have it named "PvD - We Are Alive", it doens't have what remix it is.

Well, I'm looking at info for the official single for it in one of my sources, and these are the mixes I see:

Radio Mix (full on vocal) 3:49
Radio Mix 3:09
Vandit Vocal Mix 5:48
Breathless 7:35
Original Mix 7:23

My guess in this guess is it's the Vandit Vocal mix.

Indeed! He played 4-5 PVD tracks in a row for his closing, including Another Way, For An Angel and We Are Alive! Just awesome. Add the PVD video on the bigscreen while he was doing this and it was just PERFECT.
