second off - who the hell cares who is accepted in who's community? it seems like the smaller the population the more "targeted" racial issues become. In NYC we don't see any clash in community based on how people act or behave. You are who you are and you associate with those you associate. To me this thread seems like a post doing exactly what a small town/city does when it identifies races and places an opinion to it.

Maybe I'm a bit jaded since I'm from NYC. I'm not Black or White, I'm Chinese. I don't have a problem with certain communities fitting in with other communities because NYC as a whole is a melting pot of racial communities. If we all identified inter-racial relationships, friendships, and acquaintances and practiced or deliberated why they DON'T WORK, I think NYC would be a war ground. So stop with making it an issue by raising awareness and practice resolving these awareness(es) by encouraging open minded individuals to relate with different ethnicities.

I finished college, I have a started my career, I'm gainfully employed, but when I call my friends I can talk to them and say things like - yo what's good, where you at. I think alot of people judge and assume (close minded) based on first impressions. I might "roll up to you and be like yo what's really good, do i know you or something" and you might get the impression that I'm uneducated and ignorant which would probably lead to your assumption that we can't associate with each other because I don't fit into your community and you don't fit into my community. I admit I do it sometimes too, but I try to practice getting to know people regardless of how they appear to be. I have friends who are as uneducated, who don't use proper grammer, but that doesn't mean they aren't good whole-hearted people, and I wouldn't have found that out about them if I didn't give them a chance and got to know who they are.
