none of my family is home so for the last 20 mins i've just been running around the house, crying, trying to figure out what i did and what the eff to do..thinking i went deaf in my left ear.. cause i couldn't hear ANYTHING.. not even my own voice wheni plugged the other ear
thankfully it turned out to just be a pocket of air stuck behind some water from the Q-tip and it kind of drained out..
that was the scariest thing that has ever happened to me..
i'm all worked up now...and still feeling kinda jumpy
you guys ever have and incident lead to a freak out like that?
Nikitha
Man Nik....sorry about your scare. I've been super paranoid about my hearing too since I saw It's All Gone Pete Tong recently. Right before I went to NYC my one ear was really hurting. Like not all the time, but I would get this qierd internal pain and I was SOOO scared. Cale let me borrow his ear plugs all weekend. I'm ordering a pair ASAP. I never want to go to a club without them.

Never never put q-tips in your ear canal! Bad bad bad! Use them to clean the outsides but never inside of it. You can push wax deep into your ear and block it and even worse, you could puncture your ear drum and lose your hearing completely. Read the q-tip box. Even they don't recommend inserting the swab into your ear.

Q-tips are one of the greatest inventions ever..
girls, don't you find they're very helpful in applying/removing certain kinds of make-up?
With ears, I can't imagine not using them.. but I think you just have be careful and not go too deep

so yah, everybody is outfitted with Natural Ear Cleaners. Wet your baby finger, jam it in your ear, swirl, repeat as needed.

Since we're on the topic of ears....This happened a few times last year. I'd wake up in the middle of the night and my ear would be in pain...throbbing random pain. I couldn't hear much from that ear for days, and the only thing that seemed to help was to hold my nose, hold my breath, and force the air out of my ear lol. It would clear up for a while but sometimes I would be in more pain. I didn't go to a doctor since I just figured it was an ear infection. Another thing that happens once in a while is when I wake up and my ear is all red, feeling like it's on fire. This is probably caused by sleeping in a weird position ON my ear? lol
