I'll put my head on the block, just to make things interesting. I'm a PvD fan (not a worshipper, I know he puts out some shit tunes), and I think he has mastered the craft completely. Now, do you think it was his (and Tiesto's, Armin's, & Ferry's) measure of somewhat commercial success that has brought about the so-called evolution of trance into a house-prog bastard child with bits of minimal trance thrown in for good measure. And if this is the case, wouldn't songs like "Tell Me Why", "We Are Alive", "Suburban Train", "Flight 643" & what not be the major contributing factor towards the production shift? Just a thought, nothing more....
