I'm assuming you are from the one of the Chicago, LA or Detroit areas. (or surrounding region of one?)

Are you kidding me. By the time it gets down to the top 12 Cowell's got most of them on contract with his management firm. He definately wants them to improve because he stands to make 10% of their gross for the next 5-10 years.

ok. to be honest I was judging it based on what I have seen of him the majority of the time telling thousands of people they suck before he gets to the final 12. I'm still willing to bet he doesn't really care about the majority of the thousands he boos off stage.

Fair enough.... just like how we really don't give a shit about Iran or Sudan but we'll still attack them with our moral superiority special forces team of international speaking engagements (the strongest part of the Canadian Forces by a long shot).

then as someone from New York I'm going to add it to that list and remove it from your list of bad ones. NYC is home to millions of very nice and well intentioned people. The generalization about the south should be taken carefully as well.

I've lived in Texas for three years while in school.

My experience was that among many good natured informed people, I found to be the most intolerant, ignorant, down right racist people. Now really how different is that from here in Canada? You think Racism doesn't exist in Canada? Go up North, go anywhere outside of T.O.

We define Canadian identity by saying we're un-American. That's really all it is. There's nothing else that has so clearly unified the country then our stance on America.

lol i was hesitant to put NY on the bad list b/c I've encountered alot of jackasses when I've been there and then again there are alot of good ones. I love New York, very liberal and easy going place. and I've heard alot of people say New Yorkers are rude so, thast my explanation on that

up until the 80's I believe, the Canadian government could deny a person entry to the country based on "climate incompatibility" which basically meant that if you're from a warm climate country (eg. any tropical country) and they thought you couldn't handle the weather here; then you're not allowed in.
