They are OK but dont have the lasting power that Trans 1 does in my opinion. Trans 1 was unbelievable.

I think all are good. It's hard to pick a favorite for me, but I think the one I enjoy the most is Vol. 3.

First 15 minutes or so of Transitions 4 are great. First time through, I really through it was going to be the prelude to an awesome mix - but it never really took off.

I liked 1 & 4 the best. 2 fell flat for me and 3 was too much vortex

They're all solid mixes IMO. But after repeat listens I have to say 3 is my favorite. A ton of good songs, almost too many.

Still sounds fresh.

I've been taking some new looks at it recently, myself.

To be honest, I didn't think much of it upon its release, and I suppose my sentiments made a bit of sense looking at it within the overall dynamic of the series.

That said, I find this to be a largely exquisite listen now. Perhaps it's due to my having listened to that sound on a consistent enough basis for some time since it was released, but the quality that's packed into Transitions 1 feels very much apparent to me now, if not something that I feel is necessarily without flaws.

I have yet to listen to volume 4 (can't seem to find a used copy in my local music store), but as it stands right now, it's a simple 1, 2, 3 in terms of the order of my favorite installments.

Takes a lot of time and effort to put that many melodic tracks together and keep them all harmonic. Plus the fact that you can't even hear some of the blends. IMO its a true masterpiece of EDM
