dunno have to wait and see - i guess im thinking early 90's trance

and dun worry - all it takes is one gwen stefani or ealy-mid 90's mnml remix to turn minimal from the next big thing to THE big thing (and then everything will be called minimal - just like what happened with electro) watch

I must admit Superpitcher was a bit weird. Matthew Jonson was way to minimal for me too (I had just left the psy trance area).

There is really some awesome shit being played out there! But if it isnt your thing, you aint gonna dig it! It also made me love trance again because I wanted something with a bit od OOMF to it!

Trance = OOMF! and emotion

*Play ASARJA!!!!!*

^ I can understand how you would be willing to kill for some trance after listening to mnml, I was desperate for something with more than a tap tap tap in it.

Superpitcher at Sunny was kinda cool though and I thought very dancs floor friendly as one of the people I was near said it was a bit trancey which I think meant melodic

You must've been near a window, the 'melodic' tunes they were hearing were drifting over from Arthurs.

This is exactly the minimal I like.. at least it has some sort of groove to it.. MARCO FTW!!

Haha, minimal trance? That'd be pretty cool.

yeah that would be werid but awesome!!

You like your tech-trance a bit dont you james? thats "more" minimal than most trance.. Lots of people who seem to like minimal tend to like the techy trance? *looks at gerry*

i dont like minimal at all. but i did find JAMES ZABIELA Justmusic.FM Warm Up (12-10-2005) alright to listen too. I like Lo Step - Because We Can, is this minimal or techno?

With trends you forgot the big breaks trend somewhere between prog and electro, i dont know if it was just a local thing but it seemed everyone was a breaks fan from way back in 2003-2004.

I think i might go one step ahead of minimal and guess the next trend will be techno!

minimal trance? wouldnt that just be minimal at 140BPM?

Really as we all know MUSIC EVOLVES, however people have their own personal taste, yeh they might start liking a 'new' type of genre that they were never really into before, but really how can you just disregard the music you were listening to before.

Jules look how many nights in Melbourne offer 'Electro' style nights, do you really think MINIMAL will over-take it?

I agree with Renegade.
