That's kind of like asking what's easier to cook - cookies or pies?

It just depends on what you have experience with, how you learn, what you pay attention to, etc. There are some things about production that people struggle with for months and that I've learned instantly - and yet there are others that I've discovered when I started browsing this site that people here were practically doing with their eyes closed and that I still haven't grasped.

You can't really look at levels of complexity either. That's just a question of investing more time on a given track. "Difficulty" is really a complicated thing to define in this case.

Uplifting trance can get pretty complex sometimes, mainly being that to build a song with energy is hard enough, but a good tune requires dedication and tons of atmosphere without atmosphere you really dont add charater to your tune, and those levels can get pretty hectic sometimes mixing it down nicely, especially with those saws and all those loud vst's a punchy kick and compressing it right. Making a driving track is hard enough, pulling off a nice atmosphere even harder, managing sound levels can be a nightmare. but man do i love it.
