I don't know the employment statistics but when I went there a couple of years ago, there was not a single dinner party that I went to where there WASN'T a serious debate over politics at some point during the night. Obviously some people have more time to debate than others but the vast majority of people are well aware of the political situation in the country...COMPLETELY incomparable to Canadians many of whom don't even know the name of their current prime minister.
