Wow, no I hadn't. I upped my CPU usage to 80% right after I read your post. Right now I'm listening through what I did just to see how it sounds, but now I'm definitely going to read your recommendations and hopefully they'll sort my issues. Thanks so much for the help
It's odd though, it's not just Live! that crashes, but the entire system shuts down.

try the voxegno recorder thing if you can make it through playing the whole arrangement without crashing, but still crashes when rendering.

Yeah I usually run them all on beats, but some of my clips seemed to be 'clippy' in parts on beats warping and complex seemed to give a bit better results. I suppose i can sacrifice it if it will save my cpu from dying.
