Personally I see nothing wrong with Garage sales unless someone is putting one up every other weekend; then I'd call it a business and there should maybe be a permit involved as it obvious they're generating cash for income and not just some spring cleaning/moving sale.

The bi-law does not establish two days that garage sales are permited... it restricts residents to only 2 garage sales per year. My understanding is that the dates of those sales would still be at the homeowner's discression.
