Hello Trance Addicts...

This will be my first post on your site. I am not much of a "Poster" but I really wanted to respond to Nevio's post, and the positive response it has generated. I also wanted to let you all know how I feel about being part of the Sonic Family and why I decided to come back into the club scene (after being away for the past few years).

When Nevio and David asked me to be a part of Sonic - I thought it was to help out at the front door part-time, have some fun and go home - no big role - just some oldschoolers helping each other out. Then he told me what he was doing with the space, the sound, the lights and who was involved. It took me less than 30 seconds to say yes to a full time job.

I took on this role not just because of David Morlaes and his role in the clubbing world - and not just because Nevio grew up in Toronto's club scene and supported the growth of the Rave scene too, but because of the way they both spoke about what their dreams were to make this place the best thing possible!

The fact that Nevio was so passionate explaining to me each thought process and detail that was going to take place and unfold. The way that he spoke about how he wanted other people to come here dance away their week, and when they were having a bad day - remember one moment on the dancefloor - and smile at what a great time they had here! The most important reason I am here...is the simple fact that he has everything he owns tied up in his dream and is willing to do what it takes to make it a reality - that is why I am here.

I am here to help both David and Nevio realize their dreams, to help the Sonic family create something that is so needed in Toronto - a place for clubbers by clubbers! But that doesn't stop with the Sonic Family - it also starts with you out there in the virtual and real worlds.

So to all of you out there that want a good time - a good place to go - I too hope that you are willing to help us reach that goal and be patient while we sort through the rough spots!

Thank you Nevio! It is so rare to see a club owner come forth the way you have and this truly shows your dedication, commitment and respect for all your Toronto patrons. Your post is not only thoughtful, but it speaks volumes about the type of person you are as well as the principles of the club you have opened.

In turn, I would like to express my thanks for presenting Toronto with this opportunity... for bringing us a club like Sonic... and for filling the void that so many of us have felt for the past several years.

Despite all the opening day obstacles, last Saturday's party was still one of the best this city has seen in a long time... and there is no doubt, that the best has yet to come!
