Shit man, I've seen Crouch many many times, the guy just can't score to save his own life. You're right though, he will receive precious balls from Becks and Co. so if he can nail 1 or 2 every now and then that should be more than enough if England's defense keep it together.
I think their midfield is the best one in the WC, and that's where England's chances rely on in my opinion. Lampard-Gerrard will have the chance to prove themselves as natural leaders of this squad, it's their turn to step up.
