Gotcha, and no worries Mike, I'm not trying to bust you balls or anything, just wondering what the specifics of your situation was

And yeah, there's definitely no reason to be doing a radio show for 0 listeners - I've been there before, not fun

well when i say 0 i mean not many. i actually have no idea how many but rarely got any feedback and the forums werent up and running so there was no way of interacting with any of the listeners. anyway doesnt matter!

you do realize that saying 'could care less' actually means that you do care about the thing?

I will miss it if it goes, I had lotsa good times listening and talking in their IRC channel.

I still can't accept that allowing amateurs access to an audience is a bad thing, there is great stuff coming on that station. There are plenty of quality controls out there who can filter music for you, but many prefer to just go to a place that does not exclude so much. It really isnt that big of a deal, there are plenty of online radios, but this whole blame everything on the nerds business is a bunch of bs really.

I'm not trying to jump into the flame battle, but there isnt anything wrong with being a nerd, following your passions, and just being yourself. Internet radio and ameteur music can be great fun. Really everyone is a nerd in their own way, one kid spends alot of time online, the other plays sports all the time, another is obsessed with anime, everyone has something like that which others would call them a nerd for doing, but if it makes you happy then it doesn't matter what other people think about it.

Exclusion is the last thing we should be pushing for IMHO.

no no, he's right.

Saying you could care less means that you don't care about something, but you care even less, if you had too. So if you say that, you care a little bit.

If you say you couldn't care less, that's it, you've reached the bottom, you can't care anymore for something or someone, you don't care about him at all.

Never! I don't like it when people say things without understanding what it means.

Take, "No, thank you" for instance.

People say it like this (In the US, at least):

"No thank you"

There is supposed to be a pause between "No" and "Thank you", hence the comma in "No, thank you"

when people say it without the pause, it's like saying they are giving no thanks to you, which is just plain rude.
