i'm not sure of how the xone's are made, but i had this debate in the ecler thread a few weeks back. i may be wrong, but it sounds like they use the same manufacturing process of a solder bath, and you'll pobably be able to fix it just by reheating the solder so it 'remakes' the connection. Worth a try atleast, before buying parts

They used to all be made in the UK, but now they have a plant in China.

All Xone:92s and Xone:3Ds are still made in the UK. Everything else is made in China, I believe.

And I didn't start this as a debate, as I previously post, it's just my opinion.
I wasn't referring to your post, per se, more the current attitude towards Xones.

Speaking of the xone:3D has anyone actually used one? They cost $6,000 Aus so I doubt any shop actually has them in stock here.
I sent an email to A&H to ask what manufacturing process they use. I'll be interested to find out...

I personally saw an XONE:92 at a store last week...it said "Designed by A&H in the UK" on the back, and had a sticker that said "Made in China" on the bottom....so I think only the XONE:3D is spared

I don't know. I saw a picture awhile back of a Chinese girl in a factory holding up a Xone 92.
