I haven't left a party feeling like I did leaving that one this morning for a long long time.
Going into the event yesterday I was very sceptical that Armin was not going to play well. He is my favourite dj and I was not that impressed with some of the sets I 've been hearing from him lately and I did not think this night was going to go well.
Was I ever wrong.
I have seen Armin Van Buuren 12 times, in different cities, provinces and countries. I've seen long sets and short ones, and this one was for certain the best time I had ever seen him.
Throughout the night he did not play one bad track. The tunes flowed together in an order where you almost knew which track he was going to play next before he played it, and the mode was perfect everytime.
Getting towards the end of the set I was aware that I was feeling like this might be the best time I had seen him. The capper of the night was when he played his encore track.
Since he did it at decadence 1, and i was too messed up to remember, I have always wanted him to close a set with seven cities. It has been the standard to which I measured all the times I have seen him since then. When it started coming in I almost had to just stop and realize for a minute that he was doing it. I couldn't believe that he was really playing it.
It was the perfect end to an evening that was truely perfect.
Thanks so much to Nada, and Fuad for the rides and Ryan for the hospitality.
If it weren't for our ducks stopping quacking we would have had a 100%problem free day!
