all full on is not cheesy. Bamboo Forest, Electric Universe, Silicon Sound etc is not cheesy. BUT the israeli trend with cheesy songs in the songs is really killing the genre.
Especially after reading the comments on isratrance.com .
lol... give it a rest I think this discussion has been had before
Listen to these albums and tell me full-on is cheesy and/or being killed by Israeli knockoffs. And these have all just been released in the past 2 months too.
Sorry I know you progheads love to bash the old dugga dugga basslines, but theres some fucking KILLER releases at the moment if you bother to look. Now behave and dont make me post up some dark full-on samples... I think your head might explode Rebel

Totally right. Right now I think we're hittin a wave IMO. So many great albums recently out.. Enigmatic World Mexico, Electric Universe - Silence in Action, Optokoppler - Bugfix, and The Evolution Of Expanded Conciousness.
Yes, that Optokoppler album is insane, a read step forward for morning full on!!

well apearantly something has happened to the israeli full on since over at isratrance.com the TOP3 labels which were elected for 2005 were all progpsy labels such as Iboga and Tribal Vision. This amongst hardcore full on ppl!
And many artists even openly say that israeli full on has gone way to samey and something new need to happen in the scene.

I dont think an isratrance poll is really indicative of where israeli full on is at. Prog is extremely popular now since its a lot more accessable than psytrance, I'd say that is the contributing factor more than anything else.
Also, Israel in particular is dominated by psytrance from all indications. Commercialisation of the music is bound to creep in at some point. My point was that just because theres an emerging "Killah!!" genre of psytrance in Israel (Skazi, uh... etc, etc..), that isnt a real indication of what good full on is. Also, I think its because peoples initial exposure to psy is generally limited to the more commercial side of it that they get this assumption.
Considering this thread is about iraeli psy, I'll mention a few artists I consider to be pretty much up there in terms of releases. All full on and all israeli.
This is offtopic, but since i like almost all your views so far.. I always wanted to categorize my favourite compilation (and im asking someone like Rebel to do it for me..)
Look like you like what you do and they'll like it too
