You really don't get it do you? Lifting the rave protocal will allow you to have a large scale event in Toronto .... large meaning 18,000 + at the CNE again. Regardless if it's all ages or not.
I'm just as upset as everyone here ... it's sad we loose a venue like that. The Docks is one of my fav venue of all time from the first time I stepped in there in 95 for a rave.

There are many other clubs in Toronto which remain open. 400 people holding jobs vs 400 people living - doesn't seem like much of a toss-up to me. The Island airport expansion was stupid anyway, and they still let plenty of big concerts and events go on. What's this about King-Spadina people?

Edit: there are many other clubs in Toronto which remain open... probably because they don't blare music into people's backyards.

im just trying to get a feel for how much support there would be. the last thing i want to have happen is to organize this and have 3 people show up.

That's not the only reason .... one thing after another thing, soon all clubbing will seize to exist, a lot of people don't like clubs or clubbers, I don't even like the docks, but this has nothing to do with any particular venue.

Too bad. Docks was like my favourite club in Toronto. Loved being able to just scoot over on the water taxi from my condo. So sad. Maybe because Tiesto loves the Docks so much he'll buy the Toronto island and kick all those residents out'ta there!

if you even have to ask about the king spadina people after making the comments you just made then maybe you should do some research before you comment in the future
