This is going to be hot!

I will be the happiest man on the planet if Zvezda knock Milan out.

Im sure UEFA would be happy to since they obviously wernt faking their regret at allowing milan to play because of lack of rules even though they banned Marseille for a similar offence in the 90s [/sarcasm]

1st leg results

Austria 1-1 Benfica
Dinamo Zagreb 0-3 Arsenal
Hamburg 0-0 Osasuna
Milan 1-0 Crvena Zvezda
Salzburg 1-0 Valencia
Lille 3-0 Rabotnicki
København 1-2 Ajax
CSKA Moskva 3-0 Ružomberok
Shakhtar 1-0 Legia
Liverpool 2-1 M. Haifa
Standard 2-2 Steaua
Liberec 0-0 Spartak Moskva
Hearts 1-2 AEK
Dynamo Kyiv 3-1 Fenerbahçe
Levski 2-0 Chievo
Galatasaray 5-2 Mladá Boleslav

Valencia losing in Salzburg and Chievo losing in Sofia are BIG upsets; Liverpool also had a very tough match, only scoring the winning goal in the 88th minute. I also find the Hamburg-Osasuna situation very interesting, the favourite germans will now have to score in Spain.

Legia and Liberec are still up for minor upsets despite somewhat negative results. Same for Austria Vienna and Crvena Zvezda, altho in that case it'd be something for the headlines. Fenerbahçe did quite bad in Ukraine but could still pull something. Dinamo Zagreb, Rabotnicki and Ružomberok are the most hopeless.

Chievo are really not that great would've loved to see Palermo in that role. They could definitly suprise some. But yeah Chievo I think didnt expect to be in CL so they never improved themselves...sadly

Huge +1...

I rather see Chelski or Crapca taking the cup than a dirty crook team...

I saw Hamburg - Osasuna highlights, and every single chance came thanks to strategy .

Valencia 'Ratas voladoras' lost, but I think they'll comeback in Mestalla.

Liverpool and Milan will suffer.

I'm pretty sure there will be a lot of Zvezda-supporters (Delije) who'll be much happier including me!

Yesterday was a great game, and I'm optimistic because of the outcome. We lost 1:0 at the Meazza, but we still fought until the last seconds of the game. It also makes me so glad that we didn't lose with 5:0 as we did to PSV a couple of years ago, but they came to the Semifinals that year.

The second leg is going to be packed with Zvezda-supporters, that's a huge advantage for us. The best scenario would be to get a early goal, so we can continue our pressure and perhaps score a couple of them before the game is over. But ofcourse, the most important thing is that Bisevac and Gaj keeps on playing together in the League. This was Gajs first full game with Zvezda, and he plays against Milan and does that really well.

Basta was injured, didn't knew this during the game. But he was playing 90 minutes with pain, Hopefully he'll get some rest now so he can be fresh for the next game in Belgrade.

If we still wouldn't make it through, and play well, then I would be fully satisfied to lose against a team like AC Milan. The Champions League is our goal, but the UEFA Cup is a big thing for us aswell.

Napred Zvezdo!

Hamburg can thank Webó twice for going through, first of all, He should've let Milosevic head that ball into the goal, Webó missed, and then later on he missed another golden oppurtunity.

Red Star is out after a bad game, Milan was stronger and deserved to go through.

Congratulations to all teams who qualified tonight.

There's not to much to do when you're playing the cheaters of Milan. They've got Galliani and Berlusconi who either pays off the everyone to shut up, or cheats in the long race.

Still, I want to give Red Star-fans cred for making this absolutely beautiful atmosphere when their team is playing.

Hamburg will be very interesting to see in this years Champions League and I hope they will play well.
