I find the overal effect of the track is far from static. I am swept up in its current and I travel with it till the conclusion.

What is the emotion it is supposed to conduct, then? I really can't tell. I also get the impression that the track is headed somewhere, but it never actually reaches anything before it ends.

Lament.

It sounds like you are expressing the classic critic fallacy. Which basically translates to: 'When you can't connect with the vibe of something then the natural tendency is to attack the details.'

Like in Dirty Bass's Emotional Soundscape there's a 7 second loop that starts at 2:43 into the track and ends 3:24. But for those 40 seconds i'm frozen in the loop as well, totally synchronized with the vibe of the track.

Emotional Soundscape repeats the word "emotional soudscape" over and and over and over. Would the track be better if there was a greater variety of voice samples? I doubt it. It seems perfect the way it is.

If simple elements work together to build a vibe that you can connect with then that's as valid a golden moment in music as anything.

Let's not forget the cascading horn bit in Finished Symphony! it's great too

I concur. The strings in Finished symphony reminds me of the opening movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. I thought it was very clear what kind of emotion this song held.
