I could be wrong, but this is just my take on it.

just cause trance, techno & house sound differently through the years, doesnt mean he wasnt playing it all along...

he has gone through different stages as has every dj, but his sound has basically stayed the same through time.

I have to agree with Sandstorm on this point, people are very quick to assume the musical 'trend' of xxxxxx dj is something new or original, when they're in fact only playing the style they started out with.

van Dyk and Tiesto have always played across the board, its only really in the period late 90's when the trance DJs played predominantly trance.

Is it their fault that many of the budding analysts on this website and beyond were introduced to these DJs during this period?

It will be intresting to see him play at Crasher next month, Ive heard a couple of sets, some more intresting than others. He plays the club rocking tracks which usually get the crowd going, which is what I like best, and in general most people going to a Crasher events will like.

Um

He's a tech house producer, in case you missed that little detail.

God I hate that song. I've liked other productions of his, though.

Of all his productions, this may be the worst. I don't have a clue why I even bought this on 12".
