Maybe the newer ones are, but the classics are definitely mixed with vinyl, listen to the Sasha GU's, you can here some of the vinyl crackling. Listen first, then talk shit. All the GU's are based on live sets, but they aren't actually live themselves.

Good prog tracks and sets emit as much emotion as trance; if not more. Sure it may not be as easy to dance to, but prog lovers will agree with me that it's a special genre in its own right. Grab hold of James Holden's laetst Essential Mix- please. And then recomment.

the thing about progressive is that it doesn't really kick in to you the first time. it takes some time to get used to it and understand it. believe me TA's when i first heard it, it was really boring and i was falling asleep but then i just heard it really loud, and thats when i realized its something else. you see progressive is not about bass at all. its about listening to the sounds of the song, how they change, how each little element ends to another, the beat is just there for the rhythm and nothing else. yes, the beat is very groovy and to that beat i can dance all night long, just grooove i never found the beat slow, but for most of you guys i know its sounds slow and i dont blame you. once you will understand it and listen more you'll see that progressive and house musik is just a different kind of musik, thats groovy, dirty, sexy and pumping as well

I never said Alice dj - better off alone is progressive,
i said compare the tunes and see the difference.
you say that like u think i dont know nothing about progressive.
AND i am not confused about it......
