I have forgotten my ID a few times (being from UK where you get into clubs at 15!!) Have you tried putting on fake UK accent and saying "but I am on 'holiday' here from England and you dont get ID'd at 23!" (or slightly older as in my case..lol)
Works everytime for me.
Alternatively, go to Sonic. Never get ID'd there. hmmm Nevio vs Sander K... lol tough call
