hey nate. pretty sweet setup you got there. i've been truly djing for about eight months. truly cuz i've owned my gear for three years but didn't start buying vinyl til a year and a half ago and didn't have time to mix til eight months ago. work was killing me. i've done a couple of house parties here and there but i have opened for a club in LA. i'm supposed to get another shot at it in the next month or two. i don't have any pics that i can think of but there may be one or two pics of a house party i did back in january. if i find it i'll post it. you got a sweet deal going with that club. congrats man!! btw, what was that yoshitoshi track you had on your tt? i was interested in that too. i play mostly prog house/tribal so the yoshitoshi logo caught my eye. cheers!

2 questions for you...

1) how much vinyl do they let you buy a week

2) not sure what they're called, they are mounted onto your mixer, on either side with the Hybrid logo.. where did you get those?

1) If im lucky im allowed to buy 10 records every 2 weeks, but its on and off, sometimes im allowed lees.

2) The things that are mounted to the right and left of the mixer with the Hybrid logo are The Rackmounts for the DJM 500/600. This allowes the mixer to fit in a 19" coffin/rack. You can get them here http://www.djmart.com/piondjm600ra.html

well if you havent noticed a problem than it doesnt exist...but technically the headphones are marked L and R, and that should correspond to the channel you are mixing from. if you are wearing them backwards, then your channels are also flopped...but like i said, if you dont care- do whatcha want/

ya hes right, sony headphones have the cord on the left ear, you got em on backwards

Today i'm dj in 2 clubs, but i cannot play more than 1 hour of dance music by night (grrrrr...).
I'm a profesional dj from 1989.
Anyway, i have my own live radio show with a dj friend. This is what i play (half hour each seccion) : promos, classic dance, house dj set, trance dj set, bio/discography from some artist and a final hard trance/hard house dj set.
After the show we play 2 dj sets of 1 hour each of an international dj (last week we play timo maas and PVD)
cheers
