digital village make nice systems. they arrive ready to rock. i bought one of their cubase systems a few years ago. im only just looking into upgrading to a newer one. ill use them again i think..

Since there are a few topics about this subject i decided to bump thsi one with a question i have.

THis christmas i think i will get my self a new computer.

My current computer is Pent 4 2.8 gighz, Bought it 2 years ago. so you guess the sockkets and bla bla (asus board though). It has 1 gig ram but it's not DDR2.

At the moment am looking for a good deal. But there is so much out there i really don't know which thing to get. my budget will be probably 750 euro.

I don't know if i should get a Duo core or Core duo 2 or a heavy single core (pent 4 3.6 for example). Also i think this time i will get a good sound card. I have been using onboard card with the old pc and i hope a better soundcard improves preformence.

Anyway i hope to hear some nice advise .
