So thus far, Boomers who Blows, our Squirrelly girly Sara, sweet DA, get foul Grant, Whiskerska the witch, and our Nachy Nachos have reported...plus some of the people we've met since who missed out on the original thread. 
Ivan, the original thread is the longest thread ever on TA (over 17000 posts I think?) but there's a couple of threads going on now that will surpass it. Back in those days, everyone who wasn't a part of the big thread considered it a Post Padding thread which it wasn't but because they thought it was, they wanted it shut down. So there was a bit of controversy.
They thought the only reason we posted was to up our post count or something and if I remember correctly, we only had a few who achieved custom status because of the thread (Boomers, Emil, Orbax, and Noubers?).
Nowadays, I think the mods realize some of the local regions benefit from threads where people just converse and get to know each other especially when the people are spread all over the place like we were.
Anyway, maybe some of the other old timers will show up to say "hi." I'd love to hear from Phot and Fuct4 and Emil. Mr S...phlotron...wow, there we were quite a group, in and out, weren't we?
