well i'm not gonna look down at the guy for starting a thread because i'm sure if he'd had contacted you directly it woulda been the same response and brushed off. is it professional? not really, but doesn't seem like there are very many professional people in trance music these days to begin with as we've had a lot of similar threads by a lot of professional producers/djs to the same effect on here. the biggest issue here is this guy thinks you ripped him off. i'm no copyright expert...i'm just saying if he feels like he got cheated some way...then he should look into it and not let a bunch of producers that are your friends convince him not to.

could just be a terrible coincidence who knows...not for me to say. but i can understand his frustration. they do sound pretty similar. if that's just because of the patch bank or whatever...who knows.

start your own "netlabel", and put out your own work.

like i said. He shouldve contacted us, and not putting out this shit about me, cliff and intuition on the internet.

Really man, why should i even bother copying this kinda melody like this and get this shit poured out over me?

like i tried to explain on trance.nu, its kind of a joke, we just hit the keyboard and within 10 seconds we had this chord progression. Plain and simple, we wanted this to contrast with the techy beats and the oldschool feel of the track.

and i didnt hear his track anyway, menno/paul are a&r managers for intuition, but they wont bother to send me any tracks they turned down, why should they.

Some guy from here got rich by pursuing Madonna, because she (or her producers) used some samples of him in the track 'frozen'. That was 5 years after it's release.

Anything these producerfriends said until now is bull; and floorfiller has a point.

Everything I've written has been based in simple logic and fact that anyone could understand, try reading and digesting the information on those posts before making such silly posts, than assuming the worst.

If you fail to understand all the reasons given then I feel sorry for you.

I'm doing Paul a favour here, if he takes it to court, not only will he lose (because he has no case), he'll be broke from the lawyers fees and on top of that, no label will touch him after that, not one.
