Unless you think that artists like Terry Francis, Eddie richards, Jay Tripwire and Alexi Delano (some would also say acts like circulation and subtech) are doing clicks and cuts which they clearly don't!!! Tech-house (most of the times refered to as deep/tech house) is a particular kind of house inspired heavily by the original forms of detroit-techno and chicago-house. In a matter of fact it was always trying to be a hybrid of these prototypical types of EDM and had nothing to do with this new stupid clicks/blips/glitch scene. The fact that the word "tech" brings to mind cold detached clicks and noises doesn't mean that it also objectively represents that particular genre. IMO the original detroit techno was very warm in sound, even in the case that strange metallic samples were used. There were always beautifull strings and jazzy pianos in there.

I do have a clue what it is. And im not afraid to admit that 4 years ago i was only listening to trance and didnt have a fucking clue about any other EDM genre. Sounds within a genre evolve and change all the time. But dont go around calling people who are aware of those changes and look abit further than their own nose, noobs.
