anyone see Angello's set? Was good for what I was there for. Austin Leeds and whatshisface were garbage. Great producers...but wow did they suck. Their mixing was far from tight, and I know I heard a wreck in there. Sanchez was great as always, but I get tired of hearing the same shit over and over sometimes....I feel like he can really be behind as far as new shit coming out goes....I dont know how much longer I can stand hearing him play "watch the sunrise". Christ. Edgar V rocked it, as always, and for the portion of George Acostas set that I was there for, it sounded great. I was bored with tiesto...whatever. He definetly has a new style going on, and i'm not so sure I like it....but when he played that Chasing Cars remix... . All in all though, daft punk blew me away. There's nothing more to it. Fuck RITM, Daft Punk was by far the best live performance i've ever seen in my life. Anyone know what equipment they use for their performances? I've heard they play a lot of their tracks live, but for some of the crazy shit they did, I don't know how it would be possible without Ableton's Live or something....either way....obey the pyramid
oh and that whole thing about that being their last show? Bullshit. Rumor. The Miami Herald talked about that on Friday, some reported said that one of the Daft Punk members stated that it was their last show bla bla bla. But when the reporter was asked for some sort of source or hardcopy source, he was like...erm...yeah...about that...aparently it was just their last show of 2006....and look for a daft punk live dvd to be coming out in the very near future.
they also recently made a movie I hear?!?! Gotta find out about that shit.
