U know I get that alot, as soon as I tell someone I listen to trance , they say Iam gino!!( I might look like them sometimes, but belive me Iam not)!!
My answer to the question of who Iam is " IAM A TRANCER"!!!yaaaaaaaa
thats right Trancer!!!!
you dont hear that alot I mean not as much as you hear about Gino's or Ravers!!alot of people dont even know what that is, so I have to explain what I mean by that, but it is ok as long as they know who Iam

I wasn't aware there was only two classifications of people in the world. How about neither of the two.

You don't want to get pigeon holed when you tell someone what music you listen to? Tell'em you listen to Electronica, that is all.

There are not many cars I would label as a gino car until I see it. I wouldn't consider a guy driving a 2002 Mustang off the car lot to be driving a gino car. Depends on what you do to it before I start admiring or laughing (labelling). Typically I start laughing but there can sometimes be an exception.

Invisible Grin i've got problem's with judgement ...

Just like u hardcore-trancer i have problems when telling ppl what music I prefer when I meat them @ clubs/bars. They r ussually 'ouse fans and their eyes roll when I tell them I am into trance music. I don't even let it on my shoulder, never mind chip it. Everyone got there own Style. Mostly everone. Trans-am and Gp r the car of choice for them. That doesn't mean that if u drive them your one. Just like a lot in hamilton drive vw's. U could be a true german driving a vw or a bmv. that's just the prefered car for them. Its always good to laugh, even if its @ yourself.

I have loved german cars since i was born. Yes, a gti is in my opinion a "gino car". I've had golf and gti's. But that's only my opinion. It's only a southern ont opinion. In europe gti's r like honda civics. Everywhere. Be proud of your car. have a laugh. I still do. I always say i liked vw's , then one day i grew up and bought a better car....a quattro. lol. I have lots of racer friends. cutting up each other's box of tin is part of the fun. but this is about music. I just get out of control with modes of transport.

true , true!! I think saying u're a TRANCEADDICT should suffice.! That's all I say now, although I do like a bit of techno, DnB, & HappyHardcore.... I'm no longer a raver cause I don't go to raves anymore (not for over 3yrs) but I love my TRANCE. Dress how u want people...have fun and enjoy the music. That's what it's all about anyways. Enjoy life and spread love to everyone u meet.

lol this thread is funny
i think all of you people worry a little to much about "ginos"

who gives a fuck, just go out and have a good time, why do things other people do bother you so much, why does it bother you so muh if someone chooses to dress the way they do, listen to the types of music they do...! If you ignored what they do maybe youd have a better time when you go out...my thoughts anyways...

True, true... it's what you do to the car that makes you GINO!
Once you start adding glowstix to it, some trippy lights, and start playing Joee and Tamara in it, you, my friend, are becoming a GINO!

Otherwise, you might still be all right... and whoever said that VW's are gino, f*k you. You don't know shit then... just because someone chooses to drive European car over this american shit doesn't make him a gino. And GTI's are pretty damn good cars too. Hell, anything made by VW, Audi, BMW is fucken good. And whoever says those are gino cars should be run over!

HAHAHAHA thats soooooo funny,I think you are right.
I was in downtown awhile ago, I was on my way to Bauhaus, then I heard this very very very loud music, as the car came closer, I though I heard something like Joee, well guess what was playing?? OOOOH yeeeees Joee AAHAHAHAAHAHAH the sad part is the guy probably spent sooo much money to get the good system, but just a bad taste of music, I mean come on JOEE?? and I was with Stylez, we laughed so much, and oh yes they gave us the taugh wanna be attitide biiiiig time!!!but nothing bad happend
I guess you could say it was my fault, but I couldnt help myself, sometimes this stuff makes me laugh.

I found this topic to be pretty funny. To me Gino's are not what they wear but what they don't wear and that's a shirt. They are the people that all hang out in one area and take their shirts off to show off their "bodies". Its the guys that are 6 foot 3 and weight like 250 lbs and have arms the size of both my legs put together. So alright they all dance in one spot and trip each other out and sweat all over everybody because they are "G"ing out big time. Then you accidentally walk by them and get cover in their disgusting sweat and then they ask you "Are you on anything??" and "Do you wanna massage??" No idiot I don't want a fucking massage from you, you fucking gino. Don't go to trance events if you are only their to pick up chicks and end up in the G-hole like a fucking moron.
And no gino's in Toronto do not compare to the assholes that hang out in Montreal clubs praying on innocent 18 year olds. "Hey, baby, I'll show you a good time, here drink this and oh by the way I put GHB in their so I can take advantage of you later".

And that's how i feel about gino's.

You are not a gino if you dress nice. You are a gino if you only wear a shirt for 5 minutes inside a club.
