Those friends need to check themselves. You're going to a club, and Johny is driving. You know Johnny may or may not do drugs, but he's staying till 8am REGARDLESS!
Why the fuck would you drive down w/ him then and be dependant on a ride back home w/ him if you konw he's gonna stay FOR SURE until 7 or 8am in the morning, but that you're likely to be tired and wanna leave at 3 or 4am.
Thats bad planning. Johnny needs to make it clear he's not leaving ubtil the party is over around 8am, and that if you still wanan come w/ him, you're more than welcome too.. but you'd better not bitch about wanting to leave early, bc you know the situation before you leave!
+1 on this one!!! Pretty much the reason why I take my own car everywhere I go..I'm stayin'...if you wanna leave, get your own ride!!!!

it effectively ended a 1 yr relationship that was otherwise fine, so yeah...but that's been the exception. Most of my friends, co-workers (those who know about me partying) really don't care and many participate on some level themselves.
I find it hillarious when someone gets all preachy about recreational drug use...yet they smoke and/or gets wasted every weekend on booze. As if that's somehow better than doing e and smoking pot. They feel that becuase it's legal, it's ok
unless your behaviour is seriously harming yourself or those around you, to each their own.
