Just back home.
With reading on the wall outside in line up at Guv that BT was cancelled , I was QUITE fucking upset! BT was the main reason I bothered to come down to TO for this event... though I was interested in seeing Tongers too.
Well, Tong laid down a fucking right proper set and was the definition of a fucking DJ professional last night!
The Gallery I was actually really feeling (which is not usually the case at all)... a good bit of tech-house was playing in there, didnt know who any of the DJs were though. I was just feeling the 'tech' though
And then, 6am... MARK OLIVER SAVED THE NIGHT WITH HIS INSANE, RANDOM, GREAT, BANING TECHNO SET!
6:17am... what ever track was playing out then... two words: HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!! I even looked over at Brant and whent, "Dude, what time is it, because we gotta remember this moment in his set"
WOW! I only wish I still had some energy left and wasnt already feeling worn out and drained... bc I didnt have much to give to teh tecno at all
If only I'd heard that techno earlier in teh night, might have kept my vibe up longer!
Over all a good night, above average I'd say. I enjoyed myself and am glad I still went.

Way too crowded in there for my liking. Often getting sandwiched tightly between people moving in opposite directions of every side of you- wasn't a nice feeling at all. Had to make a break out to the Gallery, where I ran into Robby G sans the baseball hat, so I almost didn't recognise him! lol. On my way back to the Guv, ran into Shawn (trigger) & Jeff in Tanja, where we chatted a while away from all the madness, and soon found ourselves dancing to a Justin Timberlake medley, bringing sexyback. LOL! Best fun of the night.
Steered clear of stupid British flag guy, who was COVERED in flags last night. I dont think he coulda fit any more union jacks on his clothing. Seriously dude- what gives?? You aren't even from there, tho its obvious u wish you were.
Back in the Guv, where I finally found a peaceful spot on the stage, and then joined jonjon on the floor below, practically in the booth w/Tong. After Jon left, Jesse Metcalfe & entourage came to the booth, where he started giving a little 'look at me!' show for the crowd. Sickeningly, at some point that stupid British flag made it onto his back in the booth. I nearly puked at this point. When Graham asked who that guy was, I told him JM from Deperate Housewives, and he said "I know his girlfriend". I was like "WTF? We've never even watched a single episode of that show, how do u know who he is, let alone his gf?" Well, turns out his gf is from Graham's neck of the woods, and he worked with her uncle and on her parents house. On his way out of the booth, Graham spoke to him for a minute and told him about the 1 degree of separation that they have. Jesse seemed nice enough and was pleasant to Graham, but I'm sure he feels real nervous after that, since he was accompanied and rather close w/another woman last night.
As for Tong, jon mentioned some highlight tunes, as well as a remix of "Moments in Love"- The Art of Noise. But I found myself enjoying some songs he was playing, while being bored during others. Anyways, left before 4am.
Thanks Barry for all the CDs. Damn things won't play in my car tho
