As the oldest of six, I got out as soon as I graduated high school. Don't get me wrong, I love my siblings to death. But when you are 19 and you have 13, 7, 4, 2 year old brothers and a 1 year old sister, enough noise is enough noise.

However, I got really lucky in every way possible. I landed a lucky job during high school doing computer tech support. When I left I was making the same income as my dad (mom is stay-at-home mom for obvious reasons), and I moved out and got a place with one of my best friends, during which time I landed a huge raise and I now make over double what my parents do. But obviously this has drastically reduced my desire to go to college..... I stayed with my buddy for a year and then moved into my current place where I am happily married.

If you're going to college, it's a whole different ball-game.

well you could either go to school and dorm there or stay home, go to school [have ur parents pay for ur schooling], get a job so u can pay ur other bills.. and once u finish school, and if u dont consider getting ure master's then work full-time and move out

crazy how it can sound im not feeling RIGHT NOW the need to move out ....actually almost all my friends now are living in their own not by choice but more cuz studies and since we all have busy schedule with school none of them are working so it's their parents who are paying eveything for them

in my case living so close from my university that would be dumb to ask to get my own place just to be independent and my parents would have to pay for it ...that's stupid but yeah of course im thinking about moving out too

funny my brother who is 1 year younger than me moved out this summer so im the only one with my parents and im the oldest
but i dont complain im pretty much alone most of the time and can do all what i want .....like going out whenever i want

but yeah i dont plan to stay living at home forever

Wow must be a nice income considering your parents can raise 6 kids on half the salary.
