Hmmmm racism quite a broad subject if you ask me. That article looks like a load of politically correct bullshit if you ask me.
Am I racist? Well I'd have say I'm a bit, I have friends who are from each and every ethnicity though.
I suppose it's how you take banter, for an example one of my mates Ryan is black and his a good sprinter, when we were kids I remember he was bragging how fast he could run, so I said 'Ryan the only the reason your so fast is because your ancestors got chased by lions' or 'the police' I don't see that as being racist.
My mate Jason is Indian and went back to the fatherland recently. So I reminded him Sahira law isn't applicable in the UK and if his wife ends up being a cheating sult he can't stone her to death in streets.
I've been born and bred in a multi cultural area each of us give one another banter. If people can't fucking take it then it's politcal correctness gone mad as far as I'm concerned.

I don't have a 'type', lot of mixed parentage but I've seen the worst of it firsthand with apartheid and know at least to be extremely wary of people that are liable to have a problem with it might also have a problem with me and keep well away.
It's more of a take them how they come across, self-defence thing in my case rather than anything nasty, least where I live now the society is far more accepting of most anyone.
I can take a joke, better be prepared to wear it back though

Interesting article regarding the discrepancies races have when it comes to their perception of racism. I don’t consider myself a huge bigot as I have many friends of different races and creeds. However, every now and again I do catch myself in the act of doing something that could be considered racist. For example, if I were sitting in my parked car at night and I noticed a white person walking in my direction on the sidewalk I wouldn’t think twice about it. Replace that white person with a black one and now we’re talking fright and a surreptious, involuntary reaction to lock my doors. Then again my reaction would depend on how that black person is dressed. If I see the black person in a suit, carrying a briefcase then I wouldn’t panic. However, if I saw a 50 Cent wanna be approaching, then I’d duck for cover.
So how racist are you and give us examples.
it also depends how dark they are. if theyre really black i prolly wouldnt see them so i wouldnt even think abt locking the door. however if they were a light tinge, id most likely yell NIGGA! and run them over. and and if they were not light but not really black and wearing sean john id prolly lock my doors.
i have lots of black friends, cept for at night i cant see them all
