Saddam in his mind thought he was righteous in everything he did, that it was indeed God's will for whatever he did. He truly was a sick man in the mind.

His execution was justice. He is responsible for around 2 million dead souls.
At the same time, I am not happy with the US intrusion, because that fueled an extra couple of 100 of thousands more.
Civil War
Lawlessness, there is just because of a few frakked up people, it takes only one bomb to kill like 20.

Saddam had a bad childhood they say. His father beat him a lot, probably that's where he got his tyranny from.

But I can never forget that;

His troops killed my kindergarden teacher. She was a freedom fighter.

Saddam has very little to do with the chaos going on in Iraq right now... what you're seeing is exactly what was expected would come of an Iraq that was stripped of an iron-fisted secular rule without a strong enough power base installed to hold the religiously ambitious at bay.

there are people in the world who figured this entire scenario out beforehand... too bad the authors of it didn't see similarly.

.........but he did have over 140 people killed (that we know of), problem or not he still deserved to die and still conmitted a crime.

you have to admit there were way less deaths per day when saddam was in charge.

this whole incident started off as a catastrophy, first from 9/11 to bin laden, then sadam husseins wmd then saddam hussen himself. I thoght people were smarter than that, apparently not. I cant see any correlation between any of those events i just listed.

And wow this vote your talking about is doing so much for the country now. give me a break, you know htis is just going to make the situation worse. To have him hanged for killing 147 people? How many iraqis did bush order to be killed with his military.

Politics is hilarious.

Short term pain for long term gain?

Well, we'll have to see.

Except Bush can justify, at least to people that matter, that he did nothing wrong.

Well, if you want to fault Bush for the Iraq thing, might as well start with every head of state who went along with this, including everyone on the Security Council, and the rest of the vaunted United Nation for endorsing the Coalition presence in Iraq now.

Politics is hilarious.

I completely agree.

according to some biologists, they think there may actually be a gene that leads to this kind of behaviour. A gene that drives certain ppl to attempt to control others... associated w/ social dominance and strong control over other ppl.

Interesting notions. I wanna read more papers on the matter.

right.. most people dont have a say what goes on thats just the fact of the matter, there was no justification for going into iraq. There was no WMD end of story. And also saddam has nothing to do with 9 11. 1 arab does not equal another as far as i know.
