When I was really young, I used to fake stomach aches every so often so that I wouldn't have to go to school. My mum would take me over to my grandmother's house so she could take care of me, and she would always make me eat disgusting food for lunch. Partridge soup was one of them. She also made this gross beef heart stuff.
"Kasia, you need to eat something so you don't get more sick. Soup will make you feel better."

Nanny was so smart. I think that she knew I was faking sick. That's why she tortured me with that food.

I learned that school > partridge soup, beef hearts, and kasha.
