Being in that honeymooner, lovey dovey, mushy stage of a relationship is a really gratifying feeling. You might even say it's euphoric. As much as it may make you want to gag yourself, it really is a wonderful thing, and is refreshing given the new trend set of divorce, infidelity etc. in relationships.
Instead of seeing it as something disgusting, try and see it as encouraging, and positive. I personally try to be happy for the couple, and see it as a sign that, although there are a lot of miserable people out there, you may find some solace in a good relationship, even if for only a small amount of time. |
