In my opinion Steve Porter plays alright, not the best though. This is based on what I saw when he came here. However, DH is amazing,but I have yet to see him.

IMO, Steve Porter lost it when he started spinning and producing that light funky house crap of his. It's really a shame because he made some wicked tracks years ago such as Nordica and Deported, not to mention his remixes of Fusion - Resistance and Sunkissed - Round Trip. That's the Steve Porter I was always into.

Why he had to go and totally abandon that sound, I don't know, but his Homegrown album of a few years back was such a letdown for me considering the expectations I had at the time. I think the only track I had liked on there was Purina. Ditto for his Porterhouse mix cd, which isn't exactly amazing either. That fluffy funky house is just... meh.
