I don't doubt it for a second. I used to (and still do sometimes) loop Eminem/Nate Dogg - Shake That for the 3+ minutes and only after the song over it finished people would start to cheer.

he also does it with how would u feel and Say something during his longer sets.

it might be annoying if done wrong, but there is nothing wrong with layering parts of track before and after it was dropped (even if its hours later) but dropping anything twice within less than 5 hours would not sound great IMO

I think its really disapointing

It kind of shows that they don't know their music well. I could imagine its hard keeping track of the tunes you play in a 6 hr set, but still....

I'd rather hear another good song, even if its 5 years old.

.....How many times had it happened that you're in the middle of a set, on the subway or just waking up or some stupid shit and you think of a mix that you just can't get out, right there and then. Then, when you can, you can't think of it or get it back somehow. If you're really flying and feeling the room, what better place to test it out. That could show how well a DJ does know the music and to be able to pull it off can be the best. That's what makes it live and really how many ways can a DJ be selfish.

*blinks*

What?

Ths board is seriously lacking a Nostrum-to-English translator.

P.S. I like your selective use of commas, and the replacement of 'you're' with 'your'.

????

Old news. That's been clear for some time. Also, it seems like I always make the same mistake. I (wrongfully) assume that people know what thread they're in and read what I'm quoting before getting stumped by my post. You are right, I'll just never get it.....

well, I guess they can try out something that they think is good. It also depends on how well educated the crowd is about the music(which most crowds aren't)

Frank, I support your random chaos, and even the little routine that we do everytime when we leave my appartment and you pretend that you've forgotten your cell phone and have to check every pocket, until at last it turns up in the last pocket...

but i wont support this, I love it every time he plays that track. That is an example of one tune for me, that never gets old.
