YES!~ i love the lineup. (miss daft punk though.. )

I will be there all 3 days. Already booked "THE" hotel (the hotel that is within walking distance to Coachella, only 2 blocks :P

How much was the hotel rukes? I'm thinking about going though i'll have to miss some school and work but it would be well worth it. I'm just trying to figure out if I want to camp or not as I would have to bring all my shit down and such.

$289 per night. Last year the same hotel was I think around $208 a night, but this year they are adding breakfast buffets and midnight buffets, which is good because last year, if you didn't have food with you, you had to go hungry. The restaurant closed early, and dominos wouldn't deliver.

okay makes sense. I guess I should get to booking if I want to go.

whats the hotel called? im flyin in and still decidin whether i should camp or book a room somewhere close

I'd so be there if Daft Punk were playing. RATM is almost a good enough reason on their own, I love them so much.


Tiesto and PVD being there are sort of minuses rather than plusses in my book. PVD less so than Tiesto, but I don't particularly like their music or their crowds. Hawtin, well, I need to see him sometime but I'd rather do it in a more typically Techno atmosphere. And there are others that I'd like to see, but the lineup overall is something that puts me on edge about whether it's worth it or not. That's a lot of money, time, and effort for a poor (literally) car-less college student like me.

Might have to wait until next year, when I'll hopefully have more money and maybe a car. Or at least a tent.
