Claude.
No offense mate.
But you have no idea what you're talking about.

I've been involved in the industry by djing, organizing and promoting events in Whistler and Vancouver BC for years mate! And in NO WAY is saying good things about your party considered lame!

What's the difference between telling people how good a party "was"... and how good a party "will be"?

Wouldn't it be considered more lame to hear from someone saying that a party is going to be off the hook or will be the best party of the year... even though the party hasn't even happened yet??
By your reasoning, the same concept would apply.

Please mate. It's our job to get the ball rolling and tell people how good, fun and exciting an event was or will be.

Only if the mass decides to speak their opinion about how shite something was, then it makes the promoter sound lame and not credible.

sorry, had to repost again, my comp froze, thought it was lost

Who are you kidding?

lets put this into context. your favourite club in the world is lets say guvernment.. you go there everyweek, you get on guestlist ect. then you bring friends, tell your friends ect.. are you affiliated with the club? isn't that basically the same point you are trying to make?

Its been confirmed in this thread that Owen assited in gettin the venue for this night.

You are "associated with THIS PARTICUALR event". I'm not saying that you will participate in future events but the fact that you had a hand in sorting this venue makes you "AFFILIATED" with this one event.

You are considered as such therefore your reviews don't hold ground. This topic has already been on trial by the community of trance addict and the verdict is YOU ARE GUILTY.

I can't tell you how many times I've appeared online to rave about my own parties! Maybe I didn't start a thread itself, but I did however go on to tell people that I thought it was a success, I never thought it woulda turned out so good, and I couldn't wait to do the next one.

And trust me man, if I was, your so-called, "affliated" with a party that was a flop, and I just helped find a venue. Damn well better believe I wouldn't rave about soemthing that turned to shit. I'd cut my losses and get the hell outta dodge.

Nevermind. I'm sticking with Owen M on this one. You're unreachable mate.

I understand where you are coming from. But as mentioned above this "topic" has been discussed several times and thats the end result. I've read it myself

Apparently it's the end result for you! Don't be so close minded.
As I said before, I knew nothing about this, and it sounded awesome.
Consider the topic re-opened!
