No, I can't say that I do. But it's quite common and most likely the product of how children are taught to read: they are taught to associate letters or combinations of letters with sounds and then "sound out" the words as they learn how to read them.
I was a spontaneous reader, so I was never taught to read using that (or any other) method. I would speculate that this explains why I don't tend to think the sound of a word while reading it as most people do. It may also partially explain why I write with very different style and diction from how I speak to a greater degree than most people do.
