Miami is shit - and in my opinion, Ibiza is loads of fun for a day or two, but then becomes just like any other cliche' "clubber' destination, the phoniness/shallowness shines through, and I'm ready to go home. For me, there isn't much there - for you, perhaps there is, and either way, my opinion shouldn't be of such consequence to you. If it really irritates you, don't bother responding.

As far as my favorite spots to vacation? We'll save that for either a "I'm trying to go work _______" or "We're going to ____!" thread, and let yours get back on topic.

Edit: And I will say that I haven't been outside of the metropolitan areas on Ibiza for much time, so I'm sure you'll find some interesting stuff to do. I simply wouldn't want to be immersed in club culture for a Summer.

You really didn't take any time to explore the Island did you. Shame really. There's a looot of natural beauty in Ibiza and a lot of really cool stuff to do that isn't just hitting up a super club. Some great restuarants, brilliant smaller pubs and clubs that aren't just superficial cesspools, but sure, some are - as with any destination...

In any case I'd rather spend a summer @ a beach island in the mediterranean than almost anywhere else, music and clubs aside
