Had an awesome night! Dean started things off with some new funky tunes! Pham was good and Ben Cromack was amazing.

Laurent Garnier was really cool. Danced most of the night away. Didnt stay right to the end so I didnt hear Man with the Re Face.

maximum gurnage was unleashed when he dropped the watchout for stella mix of age of love!!!


i am proud to say that i put my hands up for detroit when he dropped strings of life, and again for the night of the jaguar


i think i heard a few oldskool harthouse tunes but for the life of me i can't remember which...


didnt know if he dropped acid eiffel (been hanging out for this tune)


he maybe dropped der dritte raum - hale bopp or some sort of remix of it but i'm not sure since i have memory like a goldfish.


after all that and i missed crispy fucking bacon!


still, the oldskoolers were coming out from the woodworks for this one and it was nice for once not having to stare at a PHD hoodie wearer with their "Forever Progressing" slogan and the bullshit hat twirl and their stupid lame excuse for the dance they call melbourne shuffle these days.

Yeah, he was pretty wicked for the most part. First two hours were really nice, smooth tech (thinking along the lines of Agoria, Joris Voorn etc.) and then, just when it looked like he was gonna step it up to the next level, bang: in comes the d'n'b. Now I don't mind it in small doses so that was okay and he redeemed himself with some of those older tracks he played, but then he completely lost me with all that rock stuff he played. I suppose it was inevitable, but did we really need to hear Song 2 again? WHY LAURENT, WHY? Oh well. Still a good night and well and truly worth the price of entry.

Haha, I dunno man. There were some clowns spreading their talcum powder all over the floor when I walked in and I saw at least one guy pulling that cap-tugging dance. A few peculiar shirtless types as well, but I guess that's forgivable as a throwback to the early-90s acid-house days...
