well i certainly wont speak for you, but its not like there are only 3 types of beer in America. beer everywhere is practically the same shit, its liquid that gets you drunk. Americans think imports are good cause they are expensive, and everyone else thinks American beer sucks cause we send them Budweiser and Milwaukees 'Best'...heh there are a LOT of badass microbrewed beers in America that beat the pants off some of the more famous import brands...they just arent world renouned or anything.

I like - Fat Tire Ale, from Colorado. its good n stuff. late/

It's because although we export shit, some of our exports are decent, like John Smiths, and we have awesome exports such as Newcastle Brown Ale.

Ireland have an excellent export: Guinness.

Germany have Becks, Budvar, and many others. The Dutch have Grolsch and many others.

These are all good beers.

Do the Americans export anything good? Not that I can think of.

My economics teacher lived in America for 10 years, and he says the beer is pretty awful. However, recently he says he tasted his first ever American beer which he could describe as "wonderful". I can't remember the name, but it was brewed in San Francisco.

Sound about right. Microbrewing is big out west. But since its 'micro'brewing it never really gets exported from the state, not to mention the country. You can def find good shit here, you just cant usually buy it outside of the brewery/restaurant/or local booze shop. late/

Fosters is a bit tasteless, and gets boring pretty quick.

It is easy to drink though, except for the fact you'll be burping for the next hour and a half.

Becks is easy to drink, has a little bit of flavour, is available everywhere, and doesn't give you as many burps as most lagers.

I used to like Snake Bites (Cider + Lager, mixed) and Black Velvets (Guinness + Cider) as a cheap and fast way to get pissed, but after an experience in hospital and collapsing in a pool of sick several times, I feel sick whenever I touch any cider

This is a shame, because a local nightclub sells Red C Cider for 20p a pint. Still, I can always go on Thursdays, when they do all-you-can-DRINK you £8 all night on a wide range of bottles

I think the concept of all you can drink is a very liberating experience.

The 10p (15 cents to you Americans) a bottle of beer they do at Playrooms nightclub on Wednesday is so cheap it's dangerous! I still havn't been yet.

MAN, i cant believe you guys think that Molson is good. Labatts is pretty decent, but Molson tastes like it came out of a can, even in the bottle. Maybe its cause im an American, but i just dont like metallic tasting beer...well unless its Steel Reserve and getting me drunk faster. pancakes/

I really love beer. I make it a point never to drink inferior quality beer.

Nothin but Big Bear, Colt .45 and Olde English

Seriously though, I enjoy a great variety. What I find makes the beer better, though, is who you're drinking it with. I'll have a pitcher of Canadian with my friends anytime but if I'm buying, it's going to be quality.

My favourite would have to be Foster's followed closely by Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale.

Honourable mention to: BigRock Traditional Ale, Heinneken, Amstel, Mythos and Rickard's Red.

Good stuff.
