This is completely true. However, if you live forever AND are motivated enough, you'll learn how to expand your memory or use some sort of super duper small 10^10-Terrabite external hard-drive planted in your head.
Or, the benefits of not remembering everything is learning all over again, which will be endlessly entertaining for someone living an endless life.

Living forever doesn't imply automatic adaptation. And if you can't adapt to a language that gradually changes over a thousand years, then you might have ooooohhh, let's say an eternity to learn it.

Again, if you are motivated enough, you will learn how to evolve.
I choose eternal life because I want to learn and know everything, explore, entertain myself, and am open to social adaptation (relearning social mores and folkways) and physical adaptations (fusing my brain with future technology that will be able to help expand my intelligence, memory, and strength). Just about any obstacle that comes in my way can be solved by "learning" a solution. And since I will have all the time in the world, I will be able to learn how to time-travel, use mind telepathy, play god, and eventually just get bored with life I'll reset my memory and start over again having no idea who I am. The ONLY obstacle I can see is getting physically stuck and having no power to leave (i.e. jail, or under a GIANT rock, etc). In those situations I'll just have to wait it out.
