Who are you, like?! I shouldn't have to back up my argument with anything! If you accept my opinion, like you say you do, then why make a reply on the thread questioning it?!

Now because you've annoyed me, I WILL tell you what I base my opinion on and if it's not to your liking, tough shit!

Putting aside the countless number of articles I've read about Jules in mixmag and DJ magazine etc, I've also seen the guy live more times than I care to remember... at Gatecrasher (both the SSS and the actual night at the Republic), at CODE (Godskitchen) and even at the 1st Radio 1 Love Parade. And I would have to say that 98% of the times I've seen him, he has been totally eclipsed by other DJs that have been on either before or after him. Especially at last year's SSS when he played after Paul Van Dyk.

In my opinion, Jules just doesn't work hard enough on his sets to justify how much he commands pay-wise. And his mixing is also very hit and miss. He just doesn't cut it. There are a lot of other talented amateur DJs out there who would make Jules look like he had only just bought a pair of decks. Seriously, if I had a pet monkey and I let him lose on my decks, I'm almost certain he would be better than Jules.

The fact that he can be so unprofessional as to attack a member of the crowd just backs up my original point.

Jules in an overpaid twat.

Well that didnt hurt did it mate I dont mind when people have an opinion based on actual seeing him. But sometimes people come on here just to start flame wars. Or just to be different.

And please dont reply in such a manor to provoke a flame, because i dont rise to it

Since this was directed at me,I'll give you an answer. What I wrote 'bout him was just my opininon. As I clearly stated,I've never seen him live, and therefore my knowledge on the subject might not be the best.I have however, followed him closely on Radio 1 for a long time, and the fact is that he plays many VERY GOOD tracks a VERY LONG time before the masses and the media even get their hands on them. And I ain't talking about just the tracks he played that went into the charts afterwards. He played for instance PPK - Resurrection LONG before it sold so much(that goes for Dreamcatcher as well),and he played Frank Trax - Nebuchan before it even made its way into England, and got signed to Neo.His mixing is good, although I'll agree with those who say that he needs more creativity. And there a LOT of djs that are more popular than him in the trance scene that play far worse sets than what he does regularly. At least he always plays new and fresh tracks in his sets.(can't say that about Ferry for instance)He also is quite eclectic, spinning house, trance and techno in his sets.I'll agree that he plays annoying and cheesy tracks now and then, but then again:don't all trance-djs do that?So don't give me this crap about "research" when you don't state a single argument yourself.

Oh,and for those who wonder what his wife looks like,dl a video/pic with Angelic. You'll get a pretty good idea.

Yes,you are allowed to state your opinion, but then you shouldn't slam ME for doing the exact same thing!!! Besides, what you accused me of was not having any knowledge of the Judge's musical choices and abilities, which I DO have, and that was what I was trying to say with my previous post. You probably have more knowledge of Jules than me,but that's not REALLY the issue here, anyways.

It's all a question of taste, which is very pointless to discuss,as flaming always will be the result, and no one will be more convinced of the other's rant.I hereby declare that I will never participate in another "that dj-sucks"-thread on the forum,as it always will result in flaming of other TA's.(which is not what I want)

Hey,barryfigiel,it looks like you and me got off to a bad start.Shall we bury the hatchet?
