Im sure there are people who think most djs play their own productions/ whore their own label too much, so they can't really win whatever they do. People love complaining when armin plays too many armind or asot tracks, or when above and beyond play a set of nothing but anjunabeats.

I don't have a problem with them playing their own stuff to a degree, especially if its a huge track or something thats new that they are about to release. But what I hate is when a DJ puts out a CD and to promote it they drop 8 tracks off the CD into a 2 hour set.
the best djs know how to balance all of this. playing a few of your own tracks, not just whoring out your label,playing obscure tracks aswell as a few fan favourites and making it all sound good.

L-Vee announced late last year that he will only play his own tracks during his gigs....he can comfortably do it with 400+ tracks under his belt...
