I thought he was going to become sicker toward the end, I was just way too tired to stay for that. Fuck, the first two hours (and apparently three because one of the TAs left at 7) were extremely underwhelming overall. Nice industrial prog with exceptional mixing (this is no compliment since its fuckin Tomiie, the mixing BETTER be good!) but over-all it's as if his tracks didn't live up to his name.

What happened to you Satoshi?

There was only one track I remember, and that was a nice moment, all TAs including Ravemontreal were on the floor and this tack kicked in like a rampant monster: loud (but not as loud as 80% of the tracks that made me feel like my eardrums will start bleeding) and fucking menacing, with a ripping electro base-riff and (my favorite) an undescribable melody made in beautiful spooky fashion. That is the Satoshi that made me go mental back in December and I thought to myself: "Yes, I can see him now, it's Tomiie!". Alas it wasn't meant to be, after that he just went back to playing the music that didn't exactly know where to go; deep house, funky house, hard house, minimal; while at the same time making you jealous of him because he wore fucking earpieces and he was killing OUR ears. Damn it, I wanted to have such a good time.

Creator on the other hand was sick, I got there just about for his last hour, and it was banging . Making the house really lose their heads over energetic and rock-influenced eletro, he paved the way nicely for Satoshi who stumbled on the decks and apparently saved his best for last coz his beginning was mediocre. Creator outdid Satoshi musically from what I witnessed. Kudos.
I wanted to hear that 'You're Rude' (?) track from your Fantastic Machine mix but I guess you must have played it before I came. Nevertheless, it was nice chatting with you and your set was excellent!
I do miss the 6 hour Aria madness though

I came in around 4h30, the place was full and satoshi played some evil tunes! His set was just awesome, but I agree with Enjoy sometimes a little bit loud. The music was PERFECT.The crowd was cool, not too young!
9/10 for Satoshi

Nice to see you Greg, always a pleasure,
Val what time you left??
Brendan,Anna...nice see you

+1000 to what nick n brendan said, i went in there with such high expectations...dont get me wrong his mixing was spot on but as nick said, it better be, its fukkin satoshie. i was really really unimpressed with his volume issues. after 15+ years of spinning, you would think it wouldnt be too hard to keep the eq's at a nice level, without trying to rape stereo's sound system and all of our poor ear drums. meh.

Creator on the other hand played a fuckin solid set i thought.. good job bro it was nice meeting you, and you too val n x-cube (sorry man i dont think i caught your name lol)

it was cool seeing the few of you guys i know, i dont see much of yall. take it ez and goodluck to all of those recovering hahaha

Forgive me if I sound selfish..but I'm soooooooooo fcukin glad that the party left a lot to be desired.. I was looking forward to this night for a while..but I spent all week between the doctor's office and my death bed, living off painkillers and antibiotics, I underwent a minor surgery (nothing minor about the pain that followed )...so I couldn't make it to the party..obviously.

I'm feeling better now so please y'all don't be allarmed.

I got fun at stereobar,Maus & vega gave a crazy night!

At Stereo,Creator did a excellent set as usual!

Satoshi Tomiie,it was the first time for me to hear him,for my part,
I like it a lot! I left at 7am,tired and my back was hurting me.

Happy to share the dancefloor at stereobar and after with
the people I saw!

Words can't express how much fun I had that night.

AWESOME, good looking, mature, music "connaisseurs" crowd with a great energy. Felt right away a very good feedback from a crowd that really wanted to party. Stereo was banging and packed with people digging dirty beats.

Thank you to every TAs

Creator

I was soooooooooooooooooooo close to not going after the ridiculous week I had and you know what?

I shoulda stayed HOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Fucking H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E.

One of the worst sets I have ever heard at Stereo, and my God, I can't believe it was from Satoshi

Ummmmmmmm, I saw him for 2 hours. He was a resident, yeah? So why the fuck does he NOT know when the volume is soooooooooo fucking loud, I can't even fucking go on that dancefloor?! I got him to turn it down and that lasted about 30 mins before RED was showing again 0 concept of volume control. I liked PERHAPS 1 or 2 tracks from that 2 hours. Where were the BANGING, chuggy, thick, dark, deep, sexy basslines I've grown to love him for?!?!?!? Guess times have changed ALOT cuz his style ain't the prog I know him for no more...I didn't even enjoy him on Dec 9th 2005 and I'll say that set was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the crap he played Friday night into Saturday morning...It was too "far out", "in the distance", glitchy, industrial, electro-y, even fucking minimal elements were becoming waaaaaaaaaay too apparent for my liking...0 bangingness, 0 dirtiness, and thus, 0 fun for me

Creatorrrrrrrrrrrrrrr my mannnn...U fucking saved the night for me, thank God...U're awesome, you know I think that by now , basically all your tracks were badasssssssssss and your mixing was on as usual, um yeah, Creator for Stereo Resident DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Crowd was cooler than usual but, wtf was up with the Ville de MTL police coming in, shutting down the VIP upstairs andddddddddd not allowing anyone outside the back smoking doors annnnnnnnnnd not letting out anyone from the front of the club either!? Some pilled out mofo was dancing literally on my shoe, I politely asked him to stop and the ****** tried starting with me LOL...I just didn't answer. His eyes scared me

Nice seeing everyone again, my usuals ...Oh and Martin, nice talking to you towards the end of my time at Stereo, I enjoyed it alot

Left at 630am, slept at 7am until 6pm...

I can't believe I'm saying this but I doubt I'll ever check out Satoshi again Bring back the filth fuck!!!

Ok I just re-read my post and it is harsh.

I don't take a word back but I'd just like to clarify that my words reflect my thoughts on Satoshi, not on Stereo.

Just give me my drink tickets when I show up early enough to take advantage of the drink deal, thanks
