This is the first time I have also heard of this. Have you got a girlfriend, if you have then that will help to make people decide whether you are guy or not. If you have not then when you are listening to trance on a nite out try to pull a few girls and then see what they think when you bring them back to yours, lol.

Yes I've heard a similar line of thought and conceptions from Americans about the electronic music scene by people they know who automatically assumed that if you listen to 'that techno stuff' you must be homosexual.
Most other countries I've visited (and that would be well over a dozen of them at the very least) don't seem to have this prejudice at all.
